- Holder of a bachelor’s and Master’s in honorable Hadith from the University of Jordan, and a PhD in Islamic studies from the University of Birmingham in Britain.
- A former Imam for the Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs in Kuwait, a former instructor in the Shari’ah Administration at Kuwait Finance House (KFH), a former lecturer at the University of Women in Jordan, Director of Religious Affairs at the Islamic Center of Milwaukee in Wisconsin state and a lecturer in the USA (previously).
- A Founding member of the Shari’ah Scholars Association of North America (SSANA), and a former Chairman of its informational committee and a former member of Fiqh Council in the USA.
- Fateh gave several lectures and courses on Islamic studies & Islamic financial transactions in Arabic and English.

- He was a member of AAOIFI Shari’ah Committee in UAE from 2011 till 2019 where he was involved in reviewing and developing many issued Shari’ah Standard.
